- This was a game played by boys. They placed their caps on the ground in a row, bottom upwards, and marked a stand four or five yards back from the caps. Then the first boy got the handball, and fling it from the stand, and tried to put it into some of the caps, avoiding his own if possible. He got three chances. If he failed to put it into any cap, any of the three times a daisy was put in his cap, and the next boy played.
If he put it in a cap the owner of the cap had to take out the ball, and hit some player with it. As soon as the ball fell in a cap all the players ran away except the owner of the cap. He jumped for the ball, and standing there (tried) he(continues on next page)- Collector
