- We have a churn at home. It is round in shape and is two feet wide at the top and bottom. It is a machine type and was made recently. The parts of the churn are the beaters, handle, key and lid. A churning is made twice a week in Summer time and once a week during Winter.If a stranger goes into a house while a churning is being made he churns awhile and if he doesn't, the people ask him to churn so that he cannot take the butter(continues on next page)
