    The first is to catch that horse with fire coming out of his mouth. The man had to have the horse caught before sunset. He followed him all day until dinnertime but did not catch him. He came in to his dinner, and the devil's cook asked him did he catch the horse. He said he didn't. The cook said, "I will gibe you a golden bridle and when you shake it the horse will come to you". When he went out he shook the bridle, and the horse came to him. The first task was performed.
    The second was to shift a big heap of mud. he went out and began to shift if away, and for every one shovel he shifted, two came back in its place. He went into his dinner,
