    Ruadh. She said that a fe wmen lived in that field long ago. Every night when everyone was gone to bed these men went about through the village around that place. All the cattle and sheep that they got they brought them and when they got home they killed them.The walls of the house are now thrown down but the stones are still to be seen.
    Patrick Durkan, Lahardane, told me about the field named Garrdha Thomais. He told me that a man named Thomas lived in this field. Every night this man went about from house to house playing a fiddle. At each house he played one night and when he was leaving the people gave him some money. At last he died and was buried there. The stones of the house were put in a fence a few years ago.
