- Muinghriabhac is a townland in the parish of Ballycastle, Co. Mayo.
It was called Muinghriabhach because the first Kin g that ever ruled over it was called Muinghríbh.
Another reason why it is called Muinghriabhach on account of its wet marshy land and all its spring and its clay is a mixture of black and red.
In Muinghriabhach there is a field called Fáilín. In that field there is a flat stone on which is cut out the shape of a cross and chalace.
In that field also there are many grey stones. - Port na'halla is a village in the parich of Ballycastle, Co. mayo. The first woman that came to that(continues on next page)
