    again. The girl caught the plough and did the work for him. He loosed out the horses. The master praised him but told him to-morrows work would be harder.
    HE was brought to the top of the castle to look out at the sea. He saw a magpie's nest in trees which were on an island 100 miles from the shore.
    He was ordered to bring in the fire eggs out of the nest, with a boat,.
    He went down to the shore and the girl came to his relief as usual.
    She took off her ten toes and flung them into the sea. They made a ladder. The boy travelled on the ladder to the island and brought back the eggs safely.
    The ladder came back with him but one too was missing.
    The girl said, her father, the magician would discover her help and ruin them.
