He was ordered to bring in the fire eggs out of the nest, with a boat,.
He went down to the shore and the girl came to his relief as usual.
She took off her ten toes and flung them into the sea. They made a ladder. The boy travelled on the ladder to the island and brought back the eggs safely.
The ladder came back with him but one too was missing.
The girl said, her father, the magician would discover her help and ruin them.(continues on next page)
