    (6) It is said that it is not right to throw out dirty water at night. For fear you wouild drown the fairies. Unless you say (Thugadh Thugaadh uisge salach)
    (7) If a person comes in to the house when your mother is churning. It is lucky to give them a while of the churn or they would bring the butter away.
    (8) On New Year's day. It is said that you should not throw out any dirt especially ashes on New Year's Day.
    (9) It was a custom long ago to have the hearth clean for the fairies before you go to bed.
