    Once upon a time there lived a man on the edge of a great forest who had but one only daughter that was blind.

    salmon. The salmon begged to let him go and that he would grant any request he asked.
    He asked for his daughter's sight to be restored back to her. The salmon gave a patch of his skin to rub on her eyes. He did so and the girl got her sight. They lived happily ever afterwards.
