    Once up on a time there lived a widow and her son in Kilcumin.

    weavers house with yarn to be woven in to a blanket. When the blanket was made the widow sent her Son for it. When he was returning home a shower of snow fell, he went on shelter under a bush. When the shower was over he said to the bush "As well as you sheltered me. I will shelter." throwing the blanket on the bush when he went home, the widow asked him where was the blanket.
    He said when he was coming home a shower of snow fell and that he went under a bush when the snow was over that he spread it on the bush. She made him go back for the blanket. He went off but when he reached the bush the blanket was gone. He got
