- The signs which the birds show when there is rain to come, vary with each speacies. Sea birds come to the land, because the fish go to the bottom, and they have to seek food on the land. They scream and call Hoí Hoí as if asking the rain to fall.
The crows fly in flocks from tree to tree and whirl and drive through the rain while cawing for the rain also. The swallows too fly very near the ground is a sign of rain also.
