- The Bonfire night is kept in honour of St John. It falls on the 23rd of June. A week before the Bonfire night the young people gather the fire. They light it at eight o clock. All the old people come to the fire. The young people bring melodions and flutes. When the fire is burned every one says a prayer in honour of St John. When they are leaving they bring a coal and throw it into their stalks.
