- Some years ago a man named James Murray living in the village of Massbrook in the parish of Addergoole was working in England.
He dreamt one night of a pot of gold hidden in Ireland in the Massbrook Mountains. He was a poor man and he wanted to get the pot of gold. He came home to Ireland. The next morning he and another man went to search of the pot of gold. At last after a great search they came to the place where James Murray new the pot of gold was to be found.
They dug until they came to a large flag. When they had the sand cleared off the flag a black cat jumped on it.(continues on next page)- Collector
