    A rainbow in the morning is a sign of bad weather.
    A rainbow at night means showers.
    If a swallow flies low it is the sign of rain or flood.
    If the robin is high on the bush good weather will follow.
    If the rooks fly in big numbers rough weather will follow.
    If the curlew whistles once it means good weather, but if it whistles twice it means rain.
