  1. About 20 years ago Johnny Murphy was coming home from Michael Doherty's house Ballydearg. Backs he heard music playing. It was about 12 o'clock in the night, and Johnny was very much afraid. He went on his journey until he came to a stream. He crossed the stream, and then he saw a little man.
    He had on a red cap, and a green jacket. The music, that Johnny heard was that of the little man playing a fiddle. The little man had a pack of cards on a table. He asked Johnny to play the cards. He did not, but continued his journey. Johnny did not stay out late after that, because he believed that this little man
