- The games are usually played at the wakes of old people. When a young person is dead, the sorrow is too great to allow of any such joviality or fun. However those games are dying out rapidly as people become more “civilised”.
Thart-an-bróg: A group of men sit round a circle on the floor. They form a close ring, and keep their legs in front of them, with their knees huddled in to their bodies. One man stands in the centre of the ring.
