    there were people living in this village before and their names were Duffys.
    There are three people over eighty in Ballyduff and there are many over seventy.
    Only one knows Irish and can tell Irish stories. People went to California and Australia after the Famine.
    The land is very hilly, but very good. The River Blackwater is flowing between Ballyduff and Tallow.
