She asked him for a drive and when they arrived at the Half Way house, Petticoat Loose told him that he was lucky to have what he had in his pocket and that his horse would be dead in the morning. Shia had a pinch of salt in his pocket and owing to that his life was saved. In the morning his horse was dead.
