    Fuair fear bás bliadhain na gaoithe móire 1839. Do bhí sé ag dul go Eochaill le corrice. Do bhí capall agus cárt aige.
    Thosnuigh an stuirm timcheall a trí a chlog. Do cheap sé go scriosfeadh sé a thig féin sul a mbeadh an stuirm ró-olc, ach nuair a bhí sé cúpla míle ón a thigh féin thuit crann ar a ceann agus marbhuigheadh é. Isé an ainm a bhí air ná Séamus de Barrach.
