    A cure for warts was to go along and see water on a stone unexpected and by rubbing this water to the warts it was supposed to banish them.
    It was another custom for warts to get an alder branch and cut a mark on it for every wart you had and then to bury it unseen and when the alder was rotten the warts would also have disappeared.
    An old cure for a toothache was to get bread soda and salt and rub it in the tooth.
    A cure for a pain on your back is to lie down on the ground and leave another person walk on your back.
