  2. Old Houses

    There was a lot of old houses in the district long ago. They were all thatched but none of them had a roof of a different kind. There were only two houses that had a bed in the kitchen and they were called settles. There is a settle at Mrs Power Kilmagemogue Kilmeaden Co Waterford.
    The fireplace used to be always
