    now because there was a lot of it cut down but there are young trees in it again. Before the wood was there were fifty or sixty acres in it, but now there are only ten acres or so. There is a kennel in my townland. There is a sandpit in it too.
    There are a couple of streams running through Whitestown but there isn't any stories connected with them. It devides Whitestown east and Whitestown west. There is another which devides Whitestown and Croughataggart. The road bounds the south west and another little stream is on the west. The Clodagh forms the northern border.
