- (continued from previous page)Rodger was a champion footballer and jumper and hurdle-racer.Perch was the champion of the British Isles for five or six years in the long jump 23 ft - 4 ins. He was not much at weight throwing. Rodger was fair enough at it.
John Hanrahan Munsboro was a great mowers and Walter Brazil and William Walsh were good mowers too. An Irish acre a day used to be done by each of these in the harvest time.
William Keating Kilclooney was a great story teller. He used to go around to his friends and tell them stories. James Phelan Moomemane was a great step dancer. He used be dancing at patron and at markets very often. There were two strong men Mick Foran and Richard Power living in this townland and they were great stone lifters.
