    The pan of the course has been fixed at 37, a stroke being deducted at the second and another at the third hole. "The first tee, as already stated, is close to the Hotel, and offers an interesting mashie shot across a valley. Bunkers are on every side of the green but the front and a short ball is consequently less punished than one too long." The second hole is the longest and most difficult on the course, it requires a good drive and a brassie to be within approaching distance of the green which is exceptionally well guarded by a cross bunker in front, while if the approach is pulled in the slightest, or two strong "out of bounds" will be the verdict.
    The third hole is a drive. The green is situated in a natural basin; a slight pull
