   of a boy and girl, offended her. I do not remember how he offended her but anyway he angered her very much. That evening on his return home from work he found the two children sitting in the corner coughing. He asked them what happened them. They told him when they were playing outside the witch came along the road. When she was passing them she stopped and stared at them for a minute. Then she walked on. They ran into the house with fright but when they arrived inside they began to cough and were coughing ever since. When they told him they began to cough again and the boy spat what he coughed and to his father’s surprise he coughed out pins.
   The man did everything he could to cure them but it was no use. In spite of everything, they continued to cough pins. In despair, the man sent them to his sister who lived in another parish.
   The first thing she did was to take away any pins that were in their clothing. This did not stop them from coughing pins. To her surprise she saw flies circling round the two childrens heads and settling on their lips
