- There is an old mill not far from our house. It was a scutch mill.
One night two young men came and told the caretaker that the mill wheel was going round. So he got up out of his bed and went down to the mill and the wheel was not going round atall.

He put on his clothes quickly and went to see it. Every thing was in flames. It is an old ruin now. But still marks of burned wood can be seen at the windows.
