one of the cows was missing. He went to look for it and he found it dead beside the fort. He heard music and dancing in the fort and he went in. He did not come home that night and though they searched the district from end to end no trace of him could be seen. The search was given up and the people forgot about him but my grandfather was alive and well inside the fairy fort. He thought he was in the fort only one night, but twenty years had passed by since he went into the fort. When he came out he noticed that his beard was down to his waist and his hair was white and long. When he came back no one knew him. So he told them who he was. His sister recognized him and she told him he had been away twenty years and that they had searched the district and could not find him.
