The fairies were greatly angered also and after that poor Jane’s cows never throve. She used to get a bucket full of milk from each cow but when she interfered with the fairies her milk got very scarce. - On their way home from a wake one night a long time ago James Likely, Paddy Rogers and Barney Gallagher passed a fairy mound in Hugh Martins field.
