    They [sic] rest of the children—Then chant the following rhyme.
    Now they are married who wish them joy.
    First a girl and second a boy,
    Seven years past and more to come,
    Now young gobblers kiss and be done.
    Johney Jones—Any number of children can take part in this game. All the children stand in a straight line and some some [sic] one acts as Johney Jones and some other one acts as Johney’s wife.
    Children—How is Johney Jones to day?
    Wife—He is well.
    Children—Good news Good news.
    Children—How is Johney Jones to day?
    Wife—He is only middling.
    Children—Bad news bad news.
    Wife—He is dead.
    Children—Bad news bad news.
    Then some of the children get a coffin and put him into it then they go and [?] make a grave for him and put him into it. Then all the children pray over him then Johney Jones leaps up and follows them and who ever Johney Jones catches first has to act as Johney Jones next time.
