    duck in his sharp talons just as he flew over the ocean. But the duck laid the egg there and then, and only Cathal's friend the salmon, was at hand to pick it up, it would have been lost in the last lap. So Cathal won a bag of gold coins by performing all that the Queen told him. He went home to his father and mother and lived happily ever after.
