    She heard a voice above her, and on looking up she beheld her mother who was crying bitterly. She asked her why she was crying and her mother said she was suffering in Purgatory and nobody ever said a prayer for her. She begged her daughter to return to God, and with that appeal on her lips she disappeared.
    The girl realised how weak she had been and not only did she return to the church, but later on she entered the convent in atonement for her weakness.
