Old Sayings

It is an old saying "if you pull a stalk of corn out of the stack on Hallowe'en night, the number of grains will represent the age of your man.
It is also an old saying that on Christmas night to pull a leaf of holly, then count how many "jags" are on the holly leaf that will be the number of years until you are married.
