The cow ate the grass. The men thanked him. Then the groom said to himself, that those men were as foolish as the people he left. He walked on. He was not very far when he heard a great noise. he went up an old lane and saw some men beating a horse with a great whip. They were making the horse put a cat on himself. The horse was nearly killed. The groom asked them what was the matter. One of the men said, This is a horse we bought the last day and he will not
