    She pours a liquid out of a bottle on the plant and tells the person to bring this home with them. He is to boil this and drink it and this is supposed to cure him.
    Sty-: a swelling or pimple on the edge of the eyelid is cured by getting ten gooseberry thorns. Nine of them is to be pointed towards the eye and the tenth has to be thrown over the left shoulder. Sty also can be cured by touching it with a wedding ring.
    External Cancer :- A man named Patterson near Rathmullan can cure external cancer. he has a plaster which he puts on the person affected. The plaster roots the disease away after causing the patient much pain.
    Thrush-: A posthumous child named Kathleen Brolly of Raphoe can cure thrush a disease on the tongue.
    Mumps:- a disease of the glands can be cured by putting a criddle around the person affected and leading them across a stream three times.
    Sprain -: A man
