    The harper struck his harp and all he could get out of the harp, was - "The squire has horses' ears, the squire has horses' ears".
    The poor squire fled from among the guests with a sorrowful heart, and in the quiet of his own room cried "I am lost, I am lost. My terrible secret which I have kept all the years is no longer mine".
