Hanley's craft was called after a man called Hanley. Long ago there was a race started at Letterkenny and the place it ended at is called the Race End. There is a large thorn bush grow at the Race End and it is said if anyone ate haws off it the fairies would get them. There is another bush growing in (?) and it is called the black bush because the fairies used to live there. There is a height over in Castlegay and it is called the pound hill because there is a fort at it.
