- There are two tailors in the district. They work in their own homes. The tailors do not stock cloth. Cloth is not spun and woven locally and people do not wear clothes made of such cloth.
Shirts are made in the homes. There are no account [sic] of shirts made from cloth which is made from flax grown locally. Socks and stockings are made locally. The thread used to be spun in the homes. There is one spinning wheel in the district. Black clothes are worn at the death of a relative.- Collector
