    Old men and women of this neighbourhood who only died a few years ago remember to see the Bishop coming on horseback to give confirmation.
    At this time Milford itself was a protestant village. No Catholic lived there. Catholics were afraid to pass trought the town. Yeomen were posted at the "Bearbe Buidhe" (The Orange Man's Gap) It is now called Diamond's Gap".
