    Brother Watters proudly preaches,
    Preaches with a voice of power,
    Says this world is near destruction,
    It might end at any hour.
    Annie sits beside the organ,
    Swift her fingers press the keys,
    Soon the glorious Gospel Anthems,
    Break upon the evening breeze.
    As I stand with head uncovered,
    While in silent prayer they kneel,
    Some michievious Spirit whisper
    All in hollow and unreal.
    Marvel not" O foolish mortal,
    At the sight you here behold,
    Know ye not the ancient maxim.
    "All that glitters is not gold"
    Not with awe but scorn and pity,
    View the curious scene within,
