Date. 15 . 11 . '39"The standing stone:-" is supposed to be thrown from Innishowen Mountain by a giant across Lough Swilly to Drumfad, as told by James McAteer who heard it from his father & is now dead 50 yrs and was 65 when he died.The standing stone is also supposed to mark the burial place of a famous Fanad man of olden times as told by Benjamin Mc Elwaine on whose family is in Drumfad.Benjamin is now dead about a year.- Collector
