Iby's Rock
This rock got it's name because Lobsters went in under it. Once there was a man named Iby and he used to go in under this rock and take out the Lobsters and when he died the rock was named after him
The Corpse Rock
This rock got its name because some people in Fanad buried their dead in the grave yard in Mevagh.
They took the coffin to this rock and laid it down on it before they placed it in the boat.
Samson's Rock:- It is said the the giant Samson was passing through these parts long ago, and that he lifted two huge rocks, one under this arm and the other on his shoulder and carried them from the lough up the hill and laid them down one on top of another in a field on the farm where Michael Mc Bride lives in Glinsk.
