    over another had begun
It's little we thought then but we were safe but sad the tale to tell

    VII
Rescuing him from drowning we had enough to do
But worst of all we do recall poor Dorrian lost his shoe

But to see poor Barney Dorrian going home all on the stocking feet.
    VIII

But bring your comrades with you that will bring you safely home.
    Maggie Carr
