    There is a lake on the summit of Barnes Mór mountain in which there are some fish.

    There is a lake on the summit of Barnes Mór mountain in which there are some fish. On one occasion a fisherman ventured alone to the top of this mountain to fish. He sat down to rest on the bank after fishing for some time. On looking across the lake he saw a monster coming towards him. He thought it better to take to higher ground and he climbed up on a rock some distance away. When he looked back again he saw what appeared tobe a horse coming up out of the water. It came to where he was first sitting and sniffed all round and appeared very agitated. The fisherman was afraid to remain any longer and took his departure. No one ever heard of the monster since that time.
