If the weather is dry and the geese pretend to be washing themselves it is a sign of rain. 4. When the blackbird whistles with a shrill voice it denotes a storm. 5. When the furniture cracks it denotes a storm. 6. When the swallows fly near the ground, it is a sign of bad weather. 7. When the swallows fly high it denotes good weather. 8. When the stone fences glitter it denotes good weather. 9. When the bees hum loudly it denotes good weather.
