- Hidden TreasureI heard one time about hidden treasure that was found in an old house. This old man seemed to be very poor as everyone thought. He earned his living by selling drapery in country houses, but one morning the neighbours got him dead + in his bed, as I believe he had no one belonging to him to look after him.
The police were informed of this death and afterwards in one of the holes in the wall they discovered an old rusty tin. Inside the tin were eighty pound notes. It was a great surprise to the neighbours seeing that he was a poor old pedlar trying to earn his living. I heard afterwards that the money was handed over for charitable purposes as he had no one belonging to him to claim it.
