- There is a large holly-bush growing beside old wallsteads in Labadoo and the following story is told about it:-
One day a number of boys from the neighbouring townlands went out to hunt, taking their dogs with them.
On their [going] past this bush going to Craigdoo hill they found that when they reached this bush they could [not] move another step forward. They then tried to put their dogs past but they refused to do so.
