- My father told me this.
One day a woman was churning. She kept on churning for two hours, but she got no butter. Just then a small woman came in and asked her did she not get any butter all the time she was churning. The woman said she did not.
The small woman gave her a lump of butter which weighed four pounds and said that it would last her for a long time. It did. It is said that the house was never short of butter after that.- Collector
