- I live in the townland of Derrymore in the parish of Taughboyne in the barony of north Raphoe. There are 15 people in it. The houses are all slated there used to be a lot of oak trees growing in Derrymore but they are all cut down now this is why it was called Derrymore.
There are no old people in Derrymore. Long ago there were not very many houses in it but there are some more now. There are no ruins of old houses. A little stream separates it from Castlethird.- Collector
