- In one of Miss Simpsons fields called Killy bracks next to Tonagh farmhouse there is an ordinary round stone
It lies about 40 feet from the top of the field and about the same distance from the side. It is said that this stone was rolled into the ditch several times but had to be replaced because nothing would grow where it was rolled.
At the foot of this field on the other side of the St Johnston road there is a standing stone on Mr Rankins farm
It is called the Far Killy bracks
Old people say that there was a battle fought here long but that is all that is known about it.- Collector
