  2. During Shrove Tuesday, boxing day and the first monday of August are the most common days for getting married. Many people also get married in June.
    Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are three unlucky days of the week to get married.
    It is said if a bride wakens in the morning of her wedding to a bird singing means very good luck for the future. If they see a black cat on the way to the church it is also a sign of good luck. Dowry
