  1. Some years ago a man was out herding sheep on the side of a mountain. This man was named "Barney Mc Laughlin."
    As he was passing this gentle place, he heard lovely music, the nicest he ever saw before.
    They came out to him, but the music didn't stop.
    He asked the "Melodeon" from them, but they wouldn't give it to him.
    On leaving them Barney went home, but he wasn't afraid. Next night he was on the look-out for sheep, and he paid a visit to the fairy wrath, but all had disappeared, and was never seen again. They never frightened Manus, nor did he tell his people when he went home.
